Roughly 20% of people diagnosed with Covid still have symptoms after 5 weeks, and 10% after 12 weeks[1]. Long COVID is most common among people who were admitted to hospital[3].
Common symptoms include fatigue, headaches, shortness of breath, loss of smell and taste, weakness, low fever, and brain fog[3].
Vaccination appears to largely prevent long-COVID[4].
